Description:
Recently installing Arch to a new machine the ISO booted automatically to EFI shell so I decided to reboot and see what it did. The default boot entry wasn't Arch. This seems to be due to systemd v245 update having a change to systemd-boot changing the parsing of "default" option in loader.conf. Upstream issue: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/15068 Upstream commit: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/6cd12ebcfe459466257ea63022a32515d756e719 The fix is to simply add ".conf" to the end of default boot option in loader.conf. |
