Description:
The changes done to ttf-nerd-fonts-symbols in 2.1.0+35+gae56e33e-1 cause the icons in "Symbols Nerd Font" to overlap with text in polybar. I don't really know what info to provide that could be useful, please tell me if there is something that would be of help fixing this.

Reverting to 2.1.0-2 and running fc-cache -fv fixes the overlap.

Similar thing happens with bspwmbar. Rebuilding bspwmbar does not help, downgrading ttf-nerd-fonts-symbols does.

Screenshots could be helpful. I haven't yet used the icons outside of Vim, and I don't see any increase in overlapping there.

Bisected, and appears this is the cause:

Looks like things have been moved around quite a bit since then, so might take some time to come up with a patch.

See my before and after screenshots. You can see it only affects symbols taken from Symbols Nerd Font and not Emojis for example.

Edit: I'm still waiting for my mirrors to sync, to test the newer build.

Don't know if it'd help, but did you try an `fc-cache -f` after the update?

I am not seeing the glitched fonts on 2.1.0+36+gd0bf73a1. Didn't notice previously that my mirror hadn't synced it yet.

2.1.0+36+gd0bf73a1 fixes the issue for bspwmbar.
