Details

When using xfce 4.4 if i save any files on the desktop they don't show up unless i log out and back in or use ctrl + r on the desktop to refresh the desktop.

To resolve this xfdesktop must be compiled with dbus and thunar-vfs

I am really sorry. I now realised that arch compiles thunar with FAM and not gamin and my FAM demon wasn't running. Please mark this as invalid.
