                Details
There is a bug in dhcpcd 8.1.1 where IPv4 flags can become
corrupted on renewal. This causes 100% CPU usage, see
                      https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1872054#p1872054.
The fix is at https://roy.marples.name/cgit/dhcpcd.git/commit/?id=73ac184333f77b38a8b4c4202c2928278e2237ca. If there's no release soon, we should potentially consider releasing 8.1.1-2 with this patch applied locally. |

(er, it appears I forgot to update the title, and now I don't see
any way to do that. mea culpa.)

I agree, the commits after 8.1.1 have a lot of fixes in them. It
would be nice to have a revised version with the latest patches.
