Lazarus 2.04
Upon first launch , lazarus checks for tools it needs.

One of the things it looks for is a debugger.
If gdb isn't installed it shows an error but allows to continue.

Debugging is a normal task for an Integrated Development Environment.
Please add gdb as optional dependency.
