Description:
After upgrading to linux-5.3.arch1-1 I noticed that S3 suspend would fail to complete, leaving the system powered on, with a blank VT and a flashing cursor in the top-left of the screen. Upon upgrading to linux-5.3.1.arch1-1 suspend now proceeds as expected, however now upon resume the same thing occurs - blank VT with flashing cursor in the top-left of the screen, and the system fails to resume. There is absolutely nothing in the system logs - the logs go straight from "kernel: PM: suspend entry (deep)" to "-- Reboot --", as the only way I can get back into the system is to hard power cycle it. The 5.2 and prior kernel series worked fine, up to and including linux-5.2.14.arch2-1. Additional info: * packages: linux-5.3.1.arch1-1 ; nvidia-435.21-7 ; systemd-243.51-1 * hardware: MSI GS65 Stealth Steps to reproduce: - Boot with these software(/hardware?) versions - Enter suspend - Resume from suspend |

I've reproduced this on 5.3.x kernels up to 5.3.4. This is with AMD graphics and an i7-4790K.
