Details

Without a package installed locally that provides libappindicator3 the Riot tray icon does not get the right-click menu with the "Show/Hide Riot" and "Quit" options. Riot is otherwise perfectly functional so this should probably be an optional dependency.

Alternatively it might be worth considering having this as an optional dependency on Electron instead, since any Electron app that use KStatusNotifier/AppIndicator would suffer from this issue.

It might actually be that for the menu all it needs a dependency on libdusmenu (which you also get through libappindicator3)

Electron applications should be fully functional without libappindicator3. If you found problems, please report it to upstream:
