In the PKGBUILD for ncmpc, the following option is passed to
configure: --sysconfdir=/etc/$PKGNAME . But ncmpmc (as you
can see from the man page) reads the system config file from
the path $SYSCONFDIR/ncmpc/. So, in the arch installation,
ncmpc actually looks for /etc/ncmpc/ncmpc/config and
/etc/ncmpc/ncmpc/key, but this is not the intended behaviour
(also the sample configs are installed in /etc/ncmpc).
This can be fixed replacing the above option with: --sysconfdir=/etc |
