In current ArchLinux iso (2019.04.01) when you boot in
legacy mode and choose Hardware Information (HDT) in
syslinux menu, then it fails to boot with the message:
Undef symbol FAIL: exp Failed to load libgpl.c32 Failed to load COM32 file boot/syslinux/hdt.c32 I have tested it using archived iso files: 2018.08.01 - ok 2018.09.01 - fail The only related change I see in releng is https://git.archlinux.org/archiso.git/commit/?id=ddad85c86aef056c5475139e13f771856b47d1f4 but it seems that it was not cause. Workaround suggested here
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=918915
worked for me: just used a libgpl.c32 from 2018.08.01 iso.
- Field changed: Attached to Project (Release Engineering → Arch Linux)
- Field changed: Summary (HDT (Hardware Detection Tool) is broken since 2018.09.01 release → [syslinux] HDT (Hardware Detection Tool) broken)
