Description:
systemd 240.34-3 incorrectly handles "nofail" fstab option, switching to emergency target if mount fails on boot. This is a regression: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/11558 The fix has been provided and merged (not tested by me): https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/11562 Please apply the fix to systemd in [core]. Additional info: systemd 240.34-3 Steps to reproduce: 1. Create encrypted /home, add the record to /etc/crypttab and /etc/fstab with "nofail" 2. Try to boot, do not enter password on boot 3. The system switches to emergency mode. |
