After some versions the compile of gimp-cvs fails even with an error and i deactivate python but than a found information about a patch for this:

After making my own package of pygtk which includes this patch the compile runs through. Sorry to say that i can't say anything about any possible disadvantages so i choose "Feature Request" instead of "Bug Report" because gimp-cvs is not an official package.
