Description: Add support for C.UTF-8 locale
Many distro ( Debian, Fedora and more ) started to include support for C.UTF-8 locale. See Debian bug report for more info: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=636086 Fedora bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=902094 https://src.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/glibc.git/tree/glibc-c-utf8-locale.patch?h=f28 is the patch used by Fedora I made my own glibc build and can confirm it works. Is this something we can/want to add? This a git diff of the changes I made to the glibc repo. https://gist.github.com/77a0e4de7f57b11b55f14d2f495d2fa0 Thanks, Luca. |
