Details

Description:
worked fine yesterday. After todays full system upgrade, kodi segfaults shortly after the start (after scanning is initiated).

Additional info:
* kodi 17.6-7
* log file with stack trace attached

Steps to reproduce:
- start kodi

I did not find any hints in the forum or on kodi's bugtracker.

libshairplay.so.0 does yolo sonaming and shairplay was bumped to latest master so kodi most likely just needs a rebuild.

Could someone please provide more information, I have kodi and shairplay installed and it starts just fine

If you can give me further debug instructions, I'm happy to help. Don't really know what to do though.
P.S. I think I don't even have shairplay installed...

if Kodi crashes, then there should be some kodi_crashlog in your ~/.kodi/temp folder
Maybe the kodi.log file will already give some insight

Really looks like it dumps when scanning for video files. Looks like that in the UI before it crashes, too.

@BlackEagle true, I just did not remember installing it. It was the latest version (20180806.a761c22-1). After uninstalling it, kodi works fine again.
It seems to be the culprit then...
