Description:
After logging in, the first element on the Desktop that I click with a mouse continue working just fine, but other elements don't respond to mouse clicks. For example, if I click on the bottom panel, then the top panel and the rest of the desktop are irresponsive and vice versa. Also, if I manage to launch a window, then I may be able to select text with the mouse, but not maximize/minimize it. Strangely, if I logout/login or even restart the lightdm service, the problem is gone. I have to reboot to reproduce it again. I first noticed the problem after upgrade and I'm not sure whether it's related to xfce4, lightdm or gtk. I will attach the good and bad package versions. My Arch Guest runs on VirtualBox 5.2.8 on Windows 7 Host. The guest additions are unnecessary to reproduce the bug. I was able to reproduce it on a clean Arch installation with just: xfce4 xorg-server lightdm lightdm-gtk-greeter Additional info: * package version(s) attached * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: - Install Arch on a VBox. - Run commands: pacman -S xfce4 xorg-server lightdm lightdm-gtk-greeter --needed --noconfirm useradd test passwd test systemctl start lightdm - login |
