There are fontconfig errors on startup (see: ~/.xsession-errors log). Ref: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105818#c5 https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=235643 "I understand this to mean that the libraries of the not working applis should be adapted to the new fontconfig conf files, and that there is no bug in fontconfig proper. As a workaround presently, the old fontconfig conf files can be used with the old libraries of the not working applis (as shown in the posts above to downgrade only the conf files from the previous fontconfig package). So it seems that new bugs need to be opened in the not working applis bug tracker sites, for the developers there to adapt their libraries to the last fontconfig release." Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. opera 53.0.2907.99-1 fontconfig 2.13.0+10+g58f5285-1 Steps to reproduce: Start opera.
