ogg123 cannot use pulseaudio as output, because of a defective line in libao.conf /etc/libao.conf (defective): default_driver=pulse dev=default quiet $ ogg123 10\ -\ Nothin\ but\ Time.flac Audio Device: PulseAudio Output Playing: 10 - Nothin but Time.flac FLAC stream: 16 bits, 2 channel, 44100 Hz Artist: Cat Power Title: Nothin but Time Track number: 10 Date: 2012 Album: Sun ERROR: Cannot open device pulse. By removing the line "dev=default" ogg123 starts playing again. /etc/libao.conf (working): default_driver=pulse quiet |
