Description:
There is a wraparound bug in the kernel which could lead to memory exhaustion when adding an x.x.x.x-255.255.255.255 range to any hash:*net* types. The bugreport is here https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/56574#comment165452 and the respective patch was tested successfully. Unfortunately the merging to mainline is still under review and can possibly take a while. We are still affected by the bug even without running the specified script. It would be nice if you could include the patch into the kernel built until the bug fix patch is added to the kernel releases. https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/859720/ Thanks Kind regards Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
