Details
This bug exists only in the Arch Linux package, _not_ in the
prebuilt one from dlang.org. Seen in
ldc-1:1.7.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz.
To reproduce: foo.d: void main() {} % ldc2 -fsanitize=address foo.d foo.o:foo.d:function asan.module_ctor: error: undefined reference to '__asan_register_elf_globals' foo.o:foo.d:function asan.module_dtor: error: undefined reference to '__asan_unregister_elf_globals' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status Error: /usr/lib/ccache/bin/gcc failed with status: 1 If clang is used instead on the resulting foo.o created by the above command, it works: % clang -fsanitize=address -lphobos2 foo.o % ./a.out I suspect it has to do with the pre-packaged ldc not relying on system libraries.
