Since a recent upgrade, evolution keeps crashing with the following error and is thus unusable:

That's interesting since I have an extremely similar bug with the "munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer:" bug in the Steam client that's been present since earlier this year.

No your bug is not similiar, it's just an invalid free that's completely unrelated to this bug.
