So, this has been bugging me for quite a while, but I just
didn't understand as to why this happend (and I don't really
now either). I think this must be related to Arch's kernel.
What happens is that when I boot my computer, the screen (LG 25UM65-P) is not as bright as it should be. When I enter its settings, it says "Brightness 100", but in reality, it's more like "Brightness 70". To fix this, I just change the brightness setting to 99 and then back to 100. What makes me think that this is related to Arch's stock kernel is that I have been using linux-ck for the past half year and this didn't happen once. And now, two days using the stock kernel, the bug is as present as ever. I always need to change the brightness manually. |

Precisely what settings are you referring to? What is the brightness set to in sysfs?
