Hi.
Description: From Linux version 4.9 I have ACPI error on boot. I understand ACPI Linux failed to load, and change it to windows ACPI. It's cause watchdog also failed on Device creation ACPI. [ 0.574520] PCI: Using host bridge windows from ACPI; if necessary, use "pci=nocrs" and report a bug [ 0.574596] platform wdat_wdt: failed to claim resource 4 [ 0.574603] ACPI: watchdog: Device creation failed: -16 Then another ACPI error ocurrs with Device Video. [ 15.750322] ACPI: Video Device [PEGP] (multi-head: yes rom: no post: no) [ 15.750327] ACPI Error: [\_SB_.PCI0.GFX0.DD02._BCL] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20160930/psargs-359) [ 15.750338] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB.PCI0.RP05.PEGP.DD02._BCL] (Node ffff88043e8f8578), AE_NOT_FOUND (20160930/psparse-543) See Dmesg.txt. My laptop is a Lenovo G40-70 wich have installed Windows 10 and ArchLinux with Kernel 4.10. See loaded modules in lsmod-g40-70.txt and lspci-g40-70 to get more information about laptop. I tried update BIOS, but it isn't solve problem. Also, I disabled ACPI on boot with acpi=off kernel parameter and error don't ocurrs but don't boot neither. Additionally, Wifi which load on module RTL8723be is intermitent. fwlps=0 and ant_sel=2 options are set. I think is produced by ACPI error, because it may be manage power save. I don't know much about it's. For now, I installed acpid to diagnose if intermitent wifi happen with acpi event. Whetever ACPI error it's present and I'm worried that it's happened from 4.9 kernel version. Steps to reproduce: * Install Archlinux (clean) on Laptop Lenovo G40-70. * Boot with ACPI enabled. I'll hope you can help me. Thanks. |
