Description:

The current samba package does not contain the ceph VFS [1] for some odd reason. It does contain the man page, though.

According to the output of "configure --help" it should be enabled by default, so this may be a upstream bug?

Include AFS fake-kaserver support
--with-libcephfs=LIBCEPHFS_DIR
Directory under which libcephfs is installed
--enable-cephfs
Build with cephfs support (default=yes)

It can be enabled manually by adding "--enable-cephfs" to the configure invocation.

[kbabioch@srv1 ~]$ yaourt -Ql samba | grep -i ceph
samba /usr/share/man/man8/vfs_ceph.8.gz
