DetailsI download the 0.6 base CD. Its well done. To include module probe for the FTP installer was a good idea. I did a test FTP install, for the first time, and few ideas came up.
1. To speed up the install with FTP, if a selected package exists on the CD then it will be installed from CD instead of FTP. 2. Would it be possible to include the packages short description... the package names alone don't tell much about what they are / do. |

Reason for closing: Implemented
Additional comments about closing: implemented 1, which was easy since pacman can do multiple cache directories.
2 is a bit trickier, and I agree with damir, somewhat unessessary.

2) if you don't know what a pkg provides, then you most probably does not need to install it at installation but can add it with pacman later
