Details

Description:
When trying to run kodi-send I get the following error

ImportError: No module named xbmcclient

The problem seems to be that xbmcclient.py is in dist-packages when it should be in site-packages

/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/kodi/xbmcclient.py

To fix it

sudo mv /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/kodi /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages

I am affected by this bug too.

I can confirm Nick Sanders's fix is working.

This issue is still occuring with kodi-eventclients version 17.1-2
