On February 7, Anki 2.1 (2.1.0a10-1) was included in arch
linux. It is however not released yet, sync is broken (c.f.
[1] [2] [3]) and there's other bugs [4] and Anki's
maintainer recommends against using it [1].
Why was is included in arch despite 2.1 being an unstable development version? Could you please re-add the 2.0.* version (if this is generally possible?), because [1] https://anki.tenderapp.com/discussions/ankidesktop/21884-anki-update-to-210a10-on-archlinux [2] https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=222930 [3] https://anki.tenderapp.com/discussions/ankidesktop/21880-sqlite3-wal-mode-exception [4] in addition to the sync bug mentioned above, I had to re-create my profile (minor bug, just mentioning it in order to illustrate the alpha-ness of 2.1) Package versions on my system: arch x86_64 anki 2.1.0a10-1 qt5-webengine 5.8.0-1 python-beautifulsoup4 4.5.3-1 python-pyaudio 0.2.10-1 python-pyqt5 5.7.1-3 python-requests 2.13.0-1 python-send2trash 1.3.0-1 |
