Description:
Evince's print dialogue will be empty unless the package gtk3-print-backends is installed. Steps to reproduce: 1. Ensure CUPS is installed, started and configured. 2. Open a document in Evince. 3. Open the print dialogue. 4. Notice the absence of printers. 5. Close the print dialogue. 6. Install the package gtk3-print-backends. 7. Open the print dialogue. 8. Notice the presence of printers. Proposed fix: Make the package gtk3-print-backends an optional dependency, and state that it's needed for printing. |
