Not the latest version and no complete version information.

Steps to reproduce:
Run "parity --version" and "parity ui". The version contains "UNKNOWN" strings and the URL opened by the "ui" command is blank. With the binary extracted from the GitHub's deb package, there is no "UNKNOWN" string in version output and the URL works.

It's building from the source tarball provided on github. If that has incorrect information, that's not Arch's issue.

What about the other part? Arch's repo has not the latest version. The latest version (1.4.5 yet) has the blank page bug fixed.

Same answer. It's building from the 1.4.5 tarball provided.

Another tarball was released with the same name (and the blank page bug fixed, among others).

There was indeed a new release of 1.4.5, I checked the diff and it was these two commits:

I should have run parity before releasing.
