Description:
After resuming my laptop (Sony VPCZ13, first-gen Core i5), I experience a total system freeze.
First the GUI freezes. Then I can still try to switch to a TTY, but this never completes and the screen stays black.
If I don't try to switch to a TTY, the screen stays frozen on the last X server visual.

Additional info:
* Linux 4.7.6-1
I don't know why it's tainted or I would try without the tainting modules...

Steps to reproduce:
0. Get my laptop model, install Arch
1. Set up resume hook in mkinitcpio and resume=... on kernel boot commandline
2. systemctl hibernate
3. resume by pressing power button.
4. See that it seemingly worked until, ah, total system freeze.

Attached is another journalctl log, this time with kernel-lts 4.4.25-1.

I've had this since at least 4.4, maybe earlier kernels were affected as well.

I'd be happy with a workaround (i.e. magical boot parameter to turn some obscure BIOS or powersaving thing off) but haven't found anything useful in that department.
