Hi,

the release notes say that the GTK3 integration is done so is GTK2 still an needed dependency? Or can it be an Optional dependency? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/46.0/releasenotes/

Firefox 46 has changed the default user interface toolkit to gtk3 just like we did a few releases ago.

gtk2 is still a requirement for plugins, it could probably be switched to makedepends/optdepends though, we do the same with webkitgtk.
