Details

Trying to redirect a USB device to a virtual machine in gnome-boxes, I get the following error

libusb: error [_get_usbfs_fd] libusb couldn't open USB device /dev/bus/usb/004/004: Permission denied
libusb: error [_get_usbfs_fd] libusb requires write access to USB device nodes


Updating spice-glib/gtk3 to it's latest release (0.31) fixed the issue for me.
