Details

For whatever reason (libdrm, xserver or nvidia driver, dunno) bumblebee started to fail on each start with:
"failed to set DRM interface version 1.4:"

After searching around in the github bugreports I found Manjaro's PKGBUILD, which contains a fix:

Well, strictly speaking it wasn't bumblebee that failed to start, but primusrun / optirun.

NOTE: patch 0005-bb_mutebblogger.patch ONLY hide EE status errors in journal (systemctl -l status bumblebeed). In full file log (/var/log/Xorg.8.log) these errors are saved.

Ok I read that issue and it's a bit of a clusterfuck apparently. Why wasn't a fix for this accepted into bumblebee?
