Description:
Minetest ignores mods placed in /usr/share/minetest/mods. There is a missing build option. Additional info: From the build instructions on Mintests github: "- If you want to install it system-wide (or are making a distribution package), you will want to use -DRUN_IN_PLACE=FALSE" Not having this makes it problematic to install mod packages as they will be put in the /usr dir. So users will have to move them manually from /usr to /home. Not very KISS in other words. https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/3597 Steps to reproduce: Unpack or install a mod to /usr/share/minetest/mods and it will not be recognized unless moved to ~/.minetest/mods or recompile with the -DRUN_IN_PLACE=FALSE option set. |

The upstream has re-opened the bug, but for Manjaro, not Arch Linux. A relevant notification has been sent: <https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/3597#issuecomment-451661659>.
