Description:
After upgrading librsync from 1.0.0-1 2.0.0-1 on my 32bit server, rdiff-backup (1.2.8-7) segfaults when making a backup. Downgrading librsync back to 1.0.0-1 solved the segfaults. I am not sure if this is a bug in rdiff-backup or in librsync, but decided to report it here since it is rdiff-backup that crashes. Additional info: In this topic I have pasted some logs: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=207080 I'd be happy to post more logs if needed. Steps to reproduce: Reproducing is a bit problematic since it does not occur when testing with some random folders. Was this part of a whole system update, or did you just update
librsync?
Ping?
It was part of a system update.
Upstream report appears to be at:
