DetailsThere is no configuration tool for IceWM window manager included in Arch current. I think some should be added, like IcePref2 that is prefered configurator for IceWM. In the case you don't want to add configuartion tool, predefined example of well documented configuration files should be included with icewm package. Now, IceWM uses defaults values as no configuration file is there(~/.icewm/preferences, ~/.icewm/toolbar). IceWM menus (~/.icewm/menu) could be generated with menumaker pacage that is in Arch.

Regarding the other option of providing example config files, Arch packages provide whatever the upstream developer(s) provides. If the IceWM devs do not believe it is necessary to include such examples, then we will abide by that decision.
If you are aware of more up-to-date config utilities, I would be happy to look at them.
