Description:Problems he-ipv6 stopping/starting/restarting
Hurricane Electric tunnel
Additional info: NM <=1.0.2 worked perfectly. NM 1.0.4 won't allow the tunnel unit made from here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/IPv6_tunnel_broker_setup#Setting_up_Hurricane_Electric_tunnel to stop, once started, or restart properly. * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: $ sudo systemctl stop he-ipv6 > check $ ip -s l > the tunnel is not down or deleted $ sudo systemctl start he-ipv6 > gives an error - won't start $ sudo systemctl restart he-ipv6 > basically the same problem Steps to clear everything so that it can start properly again: $ sudo systemctl stop he-ipv6 $ sudo ip tun del he-ipv6 $ sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager $ sudo ifconfig sit0 down ((yes, sudo ifconfig sit0 down - ip link set sit0 down does not work)) $ sudo systemctl start he-ipv6 |
