# install-grub /dev/sdb /dev/sdb1 error: could not convert device to grub format: /dev/sdb1 happens during an install after quickinst via chroot (i.e. the install on gerolde) and in an up-and-running current system. |

Since install-grub hasn't changed in CVS for 16 months, I doubt it fixed.
I will be getting in some hardware this week that I can verify on (requires md raid to test).
Looks like the convertdev() function of install-grub may just need a simple check for /dev/sd also (it checks for /dev/hd now). Unless, of course, there's a different install-grub on the CDs than in CVS.
