Description:
Korean glyphs overlap with each other when using the font wqy-microhei. See: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ttf-wqy-microhei/+bug/1258520 https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=85890 https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=233851 The bug is known in the upstream and it looks like the problem is caused by incorrect advance width: http://sourceforge.net/p/wqy/bugs/42/ A package wqy-microhei-kr-patched in AUR is trying to fix this problem. Hopefully it will get fixed here as well. Both screenshots are given. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Name : wqy-microhei Version : 0.2.0_beta-7 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install wqy-microhei with pacman. 2. Use an application to display Korean glyphs, say, LANG=ko_KR.utf8 smplayer. 3. Watch them overlapped. |
