Description:

poweroff/reboot leaves the system in blank screen and unresponsive.

tested from xmonad (from startx, and from gdm), also it occurs from gnome-shell.
may be related to the intel GPU (intel hd3000 here) since several users from #archlinux reported yesterday the same issue with the same intel GPU (intel HD3000).

Additional info:
* package version(s) testing/linux 3.19.3-2 (base) core/linux 3.19.3-1 (base)
* can't see any useful info in xorg logs or journalctl, ill be glad to provide whatever info/log being requested.

Steps to reproduce:

after installing linux 3.19.3-2 (base) or core/linux 3.19.3-1 reboot or poweroff the machine.
