Details
Version: lirc-utils 1:0.9.1.a-9
---------------------------- Issue 1: /etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf contains "nodeamon" instead of "nodaemon" in section "lircmd": [lircmd] ... nodeamon = False ---------------------------- Issue 2: These two man page files are 20 bytes in size each, the corresponding uncompressed files are empty: /usr/share/man/man1/smode2.1.gz /usr/share/man/man8/lircd.8.gz Since lircd is the main program of the package I assume this should not be the case. ---------------------------- Issue 3: /etc/lirc/lircd.conf and /etc/lirc/lircmd.conf contain a comment about a "lirc-remotes" sub-package. No such package exists. Maybe the comment should simply reference directory /usr/share/lirc/. |

According to the NEWS file in lirc 0.9.2 the smode2 binary has been retired (see http://sourceforge.net/p/lirc/git/ci/lirc-0_9_2/tree/NEWS) so its missing man page is no longer an issue.
The man page of lircd however exists and is non empty (see http://sourceforge.net/p/lirc/git/ci/release-0_9_2/tree/doc/man-source/lircd.8).
