Details
Description: lxpanel 0.7.1-1 is not recognized as dock by
the window manager, leading to a situation where all
maximized windows fill the whole screen, including the area
covered by the lxpanel window. This bug does not occur with
lxpanel 0.7.0-2.
Additional info: * package version affected: lxpanel 0.7.1-1 * package version not affected: lxpanel-0.7.0-2 * config and/or log files etc: not needed. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install lxpanel 0.7.1-1 2. Run your favourite stacking/floating window manager (whatever that might be). 3. Run lxpanel. Make sure that you have checked the "Make window managers treat the panel as dock" checkbox in lxanel's settings. 3. Run an arbitrary X11 application with a resizable window and maximize that window. 4. Note how the window grows to the whole screen size, ignoring the fact that lxanel should be treated as a dock. 5. Downgrade to lxpanel 0.7.0-2, kill and restart lxpanel and note how your maximized window resizes to "the whole screen minus the area covered by the lxpanel window". |

Besides, this seems to be an upstream bug fixed that has been fixed in git already:
