Description:
I have the next detected kernels in the generated grub's submenu: Linux-lts Linux-lts (fallback) Linux Linux (fallback) The default entry is Linux-lts, which is not what I need. * How I can remove this submenu and simply show all entries as it was with legacy grub? * How can I at least force it to show Linux as a default entry, over the submenu? * Even with GRUB_DEFAULT=2 it shows Linux as a default entry but once I press enter it says "Loading Linux linux-lts...". * GRUB_SAVEDEFAULT="save" doesn't seem to work. And these funny names, like "Arch Linux, with Linux linux (fallback initramfs)". Linux Linux linus, Linux linux. Wiki suggests to not to edit grub.cfg manually, but should I edit 10_linux instead? Is it any better? How it comes that such an incomplete thing reaches production? Best, Alexander |
