Details

Description: All 5.1 content plays with center coming from Rear Left, sub going through rear right, rear left coming from front center and rear right going through the sub.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the XBMC package or the FFMPEG package. I checked w/ XBMC devs who led me to an easy fix though, recompiled this package with --enable-external-libraries removed from the configure and it works great.

Strangely, other FFMPEG based software such as VLC do not seem to be affected.

Additional info:
* package version(s) - Tested with 13.0, 13.1-5 and a version bumped 13.2 self-made
* config and/or log files etc.

XBMC's debug log is here: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=271359

Key lines:
19:26:38 T:140438452688640 DEBUG: CAESinkALSA::GetChannelLayout - Requested Layout: FL,FR,FC,LFE,BL,BR
19:26:38 T:140438452688640 DEBUG: CAESinkALSA::GetChannelLayout - Got Layout: FL,FR,BL,BR,FC,LFE

Steps to reproduce:
Open up XBMC. Set sound to 5.1. Play any movie or show with more than 2 channels. Tested w/ multiple audio formats.

this should be fixed, if not it is a bug in xbmc itself since we build 'the recommended' way now
