Details

Description: X will not start with the combination of linux-3.15.1-1 nvidia-337.25-3. X does not recognize the nvidia driver is available. Downgrading to linux 3.14.6-1 and nvidia 337.25-1 allow X to successfully start.

Note the journal.txt attachment below covers several reboots with the combination where X wasn't working as I was troubleshooting a bit before downgrading the packages.
