The file locale.sh is generated at boot time and the last line is :
echo -ne "\e(K"

which bug completly the display of gnome-terminal by displaying that :
Ü0;capnemo§nautilus:/etcÄcapnemo§nautilus etcÜ$

instead of that:
[capnemo@nautilus etc]$

I saw that the rc.sysinit did this file looking at the variable CONSOLEFONT (at line 240).

Is this echo really usefull ?!

This bug should be closed as the problem is now fixed in the latest initscripts.
