Description:
mate-power-manager Applet does not read Battery information. Notifications about battery won´t work anymore. The laptop doesn´t shutdown on critical battery state anymore. If you "right-click" the battery applet it shows the real battery state but not if you "mouse over" the applet. * Install `mate-applets`.
* Right click a Panel, select 'Add to Panel...', select 'Battery Charge Monitor' and click 'Add'
* Right click the batery applet you just added, select 'Preferences' and configure the notifcations to alert you when battery levels are low.
