Description:
Sometimes on startup the icons on the top panel are squeezed together, so are the icons on the Dash. Apparently no margins are correctly applied between them. And the search function in the overview yields no usable results. This bug has been existing for a while, and I see no one has reported this bug. Here is a post I found in the forum: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=177973. And a reddit post I posted a while ago: http://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/1zm7fd/do_you_guys_have_this_problem_running_gnome_shell/. Apparently I'm not the only one having this issue, but no one seemed to relate this bug to any specific package update. I can work around this by reloading gnome shell every time I start my computer.
