Details
As of 1.2, the standard Go source distribution does not
include "godoc", an essential tool for Go developers.
Google's binary distributions include godoc. Either an
additional package is needed (like Debian's go.tools) or
inclusion in the Go package.
Of lesser interest (to me) is the also removed "go vet" tool. I am happy to submit a patch to add this to the go PKGBUILD, or start a new PKGBUILD for gotools -- which is preferred? |
