Description:
bash update causes error messages in mkinitcpio. The [testing] version of bash causes a number of "==> ERROR: file not found: `'" lines in mkinitcpio's output. The img still seems to build correctly, as I was able to boot from it, but there is certainly something awry with the scripts. I wasn't positive this should be filed against mkinitcpio, as I am not entirely sure what is going on here. I tried running with the verbose flag, and the messages appear between the addition of /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/60-persistent-storage.rules and /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/64-btrfs.rules (four of them) and then between 99-systemd.rules and ctrl-alt-delete.target (one more). So I wasn't sure if this is a mkinitcpio issue, a bash issue, or a systemd 210 issue. Downgrading bash solves the issue. Additional info: * mkinitcpio 16-2 * bash 4.3-1 * systemd 210-1 * I have a fully up to date machine using the [testing] repository. * mkinitcpio.conf has 'i915' in the MODULES array * HOOKS="systemd autodetect modconf keyboard block filesystem" Steps to reproduce: 1. Update machine to current (2014-02-26) [testing] respoitory with bash 4.3-1. 2. Try to build an initramfs with mkinitcpio. 3. See errors. |
