Details

The lcdproc package attempts to build all drivers, however the g15 driver (/usr/lib/lcdproc/g15.so) is not included in the package.

I think libg15 or similar should be added as a build dependency, so this driver is present for those who can use it.

i quickly checked it and the build fails, i have to investigate further to see if it is worth it building with g15 support

What errors did you get? It worked fine for me without any changes to the PKGBUILD, it automatically picked up the presence of community/libg15. Perhaps it also needs community/g15daemon present?
