All versions of xf86-video-intel after 2.21.15 under SNA contain a pixmap cache of sorts.

Up until 5 hours ago, the codebase was happy to accrue, but never use or cull pixmaps.

The result of this is that my X session has been running for 24 hours and is 5GB. My machine is 2GB into swap and thrashing awkwardly. Apparently I am not the only one, as Ubuntu also had bugs filed and acknowledged of exactly this:

Comment 11 contains two patches that supposedly fix this, which I believe should be added to prepare() until a new release is out, because this isn't good - I've had to restart X daily since the last video-intel update.
